Priit Sauk appointed as the new Director of RB Rail AS Estonian Branch

Priit Sauk has been appointed as the new Director of RB Rail AS Estonian Branch. Sauk succeeds Aivar Jaeski and continues in his new role as of 16 July 2021. He joined the company in April 2021 as the Technical Director.

Priit Sauk has been working in the leading positions in the construction field for more than 28 years, including being a Board Member in companies like Tartu Maja AS, Estiko AS, Koger & Partnerid AS, YIT Ehitus AS, Teede REV 2 AS, SRV Ehituse AS. The last 5 years Sauk occupied positions of Director General and a Project manager in Estonian Road Administration where he was leading the preparations for the Estonian Civil Aviation Administration, the Maritime Administration, and the Road Administration merge into the Estonian Transport Administration.

“It is my pleasure to be part of this megaproject, and now coordinate its execution in Estonia. My main tasks will consist of leading the RB Rails AS Estonian branch, ensure successful implementation of the planned activities and Global Project’s goals, as well as to strengthen Rail Baltica internal and external stakeholder network and cooperation,” said Priit Sauk. “I will also continue the promotion and representation of the project in Finland.”

RB Rail AS is a multi-national joint venture of the Republics of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, which has been established to implement Rail Baltica – the first pan-Baltic infrastructure project of its kind. RB Rail is the central coordinator for the Rail Baltica project.
