RB Rail AS the Procurement commission established for planned open competition “Design Expertise services for Rail Baltica Energy Subsystem in Latvia, and Lithuania” (identification No RBR 2025/14), in accordance with the Article 18 Paragraph 2 prim 1 of the Public Procurement Law of the Republic of Latvia, announces the market consultation with interested suppliers (economic operators) regarding the information to be included in the planned procurement documentation.
Rail Baltica energy subsystem is to be deployed in all Baltic states by installing traction substation, overhead contact line facilities to ensure safe and reliable power supply for Rail Baltica railway needs.
RB Rail AS Procurement commission invites perspective market participants, who are interested in providing design expertise services as defined in Latvian and/or Lithuanian construction legislation accordingly, to use the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the open procurement regulations and provide suggestions regarding the implementation of design expertise services to be considered for the update of procurement regulations before launching the public procurement process.
After the procurement process, the qualified tenderers will be invited to sign framework agreements to provide design expertise services for Rail Baltica energy subsystem deployment.
