Rail professionals from across Europe will meet in Riga, Latvia, on 17–18 June 2026 for the BIM for Rail Bootcamp 2026, a two-day event focused on practical learning and exchange around digital rail infrastructure.
The bootcamp will explore Building Information Modelling (BIM), Asset Information Modelling (AIM) and data-driven asset management, with a strong emphasis on sharing real-world experience and learning from peers.
The event is organised by Haskoning, in cooperation with event partner Vossloh, and hosted by Riga Technical University, with Rail Baltica as co-host. It is aimed at rail asset managers, engineers, contractors, maintainers and suppliers involved in the planning, delivery and operation of rail infrastructure.
The BIM for Rail Bootcamp has a strong non-commercial focus. Participants will learn from examples of successful BIM use in rail and other industries, connect with peers from across Europe and discuss solutions for data-driven asset management. Alongside keynote sessions and interactive workshops, the programme includes networking opportunities and a technical site visit.
Registration for the BIM for Rail Bootcamp 2026 is now open.
