Rail Baltica 2026 Procurement Plan now available

Rail Baltica has published its 2026 Procurement Plan, listing the procurements coming up across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

The plan brings together procurements from RB Rail AS and the three national implementing bodies (Rail Baltic Estonia, Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas, and LTG Infra) into a single overview for the year ahead.

What’s in the pipeline: construction works, design and design-and-build contracts, engineering and supervision, environmental and laboratory services, and IT and operational support. Specific procurements include railway infrastructure construction, passenger terminals, cross-border sections, superstructure and railway subsystems work, and a range of consultancy and expert services.

“We want to talk to the market before and after procurements go live. If your company has relevant experience, get in touch. It is easier for everyone if we know who is out there and what they have to offer before the procurement preparation process starts,” Ieva Rudzīte, Deputy Head of Legal Department (Procurement) of RB Rail AS, said.

Full plan, timelines, and contracting authorities are available here.
