Job summary
The primary responsibilities of Civil Infrastructure Engineer will be to serve in technical role including planning, analysis, technical assessment and justification, design review and quality control of civil infrastructure works through whole project including design and construction phases, where he will be acting as design and construction activities coordinator and provide technical support to other RBR Technical units within the scope of the competence.
We will entrust you to
- Perform complex structural analysis and design review for all structural aspects of road projects and related infrastructure and similar railway structures (embankment, bridges and other structures);
- Perform on-the-spot construction works supervision according to developed methodology and within agreed scope;
- Design conformity to design guidelines review;
- Technical lead within review of other designs or activities which has interface with Rail Baltica project;
- Involvement in mainline construction process (construction supervision, lead/coordinate design changes review process, verification), including revision of proposed design optimisations by contractors.
To succeed, you should have
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, with Railways or Roads Engineering specialization;
- 5+ years’ experience of transport infrastructure design and design supervision;
- Understanding of local and international construction and design standards;
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, AutoCad, AutoCad Civil 3D or other road design software such as Bentley;
- Resilience to coping with conflicting demands, able to prioritize duties and work under pressure;
- Well-developed communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with both the business partners and internal technical team members;
- Fluency in English and Lithuanian, and a good command of technical English.
