The Contracting Authority, Estonian branch of joint stock company \u201eRB Rail AS\u201d, legal name \u201cRB Rail AS Eesti Filiaal\u201d, address: Hobujaama 4, Tallinn 10151, Estonia, announces open competition \u201cFeasibility study of P\u00e4rnu freight terminal in the context of the Rail Baltica Global Project\u201d; applicable CPV code is 79314000-8 (Feasibility study). \u00a0<\/p>\n

Open competition and subject matter is co-financed by Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and it is organised in accordance with Public procurement law of Estonia.<\/p>\n

Subject Matter of Open Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n

The study aims to analyse the possible alternatives for the P\u00e4rnu freight terminal from the viewpoint of additional benefits for the feasibility of the Global Project, along with analysis of technical constraints that stem from the preferred alignment of Rail Baltica\u00b4s main line as identified during the spatial planning process.<\/p>\n

The result of this study will be feasibility study, including the market study with freight forecast modelling, the spatial and technical analysis and the selection of preferred option considering the terminal\u2019s functional and technical requirements identified during the process, as well as the terminal\u2019s projected cargo handling volumes until 2055, aligned and cross-checked with the Rail Baltica Global Project cost-benefit analysis.\u00a0\u00a0 The delivery of the study will take place in Estonia.<\/p>\n
