INVITATION TO\u00a0SUPPLIER MEETING\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

RB Rail AS, the central coordinator of the Rail\u00a0Baltica\u00a0project, intends to announce procurement\u00a0exercise(s) on independent assessment services \u2013\u00a0Notified Body (NoBo)\u00a0and\/or\u00a0Assesment\u00a0Body (AsBo)\u00a0\u2013 for\u00a0the\u00a0Rail\u00a0Baltica\u00a0project needs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We invite\u00a0interested suppliers to apply for\u00a0an\u00a0individual meeting with representatives from RB Rail AS\u00a0in the period from 13 December 2018 to 18 December 2018 at RB Rail AS\u00a0<\/b>head office\u00a0<\/b>(<\/b>address:\u00a0<\/b>K.Valdemara<\/b>\u00a0<\/b>iela<\/b>\u00a08\u20137, Riga, Latvia<\/b>)<\/b>.\u00a0Each\u00a0meeting will be scheduled for up to 2 (two) hours. A total of 15 (fifteen) time slots will be available, spread across\u00a013th<\/span>, 14th<\/span>\u00a0and 18th<\/span>\u00a0of December, between 8:00 and 18:00\u00a0hours Latvian Time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At the meeting RB Rail AS will introduce potential suppliers to the Rail\u00a0Baltica\u00a0project,\u00a0the\u00a0project schedule and\u00a0the\u00a0procurement plan in the field of\u00a0the\u00a0subject matter \u2013\u00a0independent assessment services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      The focus of the meetings will be (1) the scope of work, (2) typical workflow and collaboration procedure with design and construction works contractors,\u00a0 (3) phasing the services, (4) resources and manpower required to deliver the services, (5) legal and administrative issues, expectations towards main contractual requirements, (6) project management and quality assurance of the services, (7) pricing and payment conditions of the services, (8) risks and their mitigation measures, (9) expectations towards the procurement process, requirements, evaluation and documentation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      The meeting will be recorded and\u00a0a\u00a0summarised version of the minutes of\u00a0all meetings will be available online at:\u00a0https:\/\/www.railbaltica.org<\/a>. For the purposes of fair treatment of suppliers and potential tenderers, RB Rail AS shall publish all the significant information\u00a0shared with the Tenderers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      The maximum number of meetings is\u00a015\u00a0(fifteen), with no more than\u00a03 (three)\u00a0representatives from one potential supplier allowed\u00a0to\u00a0the meeting. The applications will be registered on a first-come\u00a0first-served\u00a0basis, and RB Rail AS will confirm the participation of the supplier by sending a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address provided in the application.\u00a0Please apply for the meetings only in case you have\u00a0experience and ability to provide the\u00a0NoBo\u00a0\/\u00a0AsBo\u00a0services, as these Supplier Meetings are not intended for any other purpose.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      The number of participants is restricted due to the limited capacity of the meeting room available to the\u00a0organiser.\u00a0Please consult with the RB Rail AS contact.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
